The page I did my content hierarchy on can be found here
What is the single most important piece of information on the page?
The first thing my eye goes towards on this page is the company’s logo, Buzzfeed is bold and dominant in the upper lefthand corner. According to the page source the logo is a live link rerouting the user to the homepage no matter what, so it isn’t using a h1 tag; but is still the most important piece of information on the page.
What is/are the 2nd-most important piece(s) of information on the page?
The second thing my eye is drawn to is the title of the article, Literally just 17 really, really good ideas, the page source has the tag title before it, i’m not sure if this the same has a h1, h2, or even h3 tag, but going back and comparing it visually with the Buzzfeed logo, I would say it’s close to a h2 tag.
What are the 3rd-most important pieces of information on the page?
The third most important piece of information on this page I think is the pulled quote directly under the article title, visually it was the next thing my eye went to with the general flow and hierarchy of the page. The tag used for the pulled quote just says quote, it looks closer to a h3 or h4 tag, since it’s a quote it’s a smaller font compared to title of the article directly above it.
